It was a rough couple of days of practice with injuries and illnesses. Heading into the matches, the Longhorns were down an outside hitter (Laura), a libero (Eliana) and a defensive specialist (Alexis), but the girls played soooo hard and hustled so much to defeat Lassiter B and Walton B on Thursday night. Here are some stats on the matches:
Amalie Alvarez: 15 aces, 24 sets
Savannah Corr: 5 digs, 3 aces, 2 kills
Julie Edwards: 4 digs, 7 aces, 1 kill
Gina Hogan: 4 digs, 1 kill
Ashley Jones: 7 digs, 6 aces, 3 kills
Kelsey Lowman: 5 digs
Brittany Stocus: 3 digs, 9 aces, 10 kills

This Saturday the girls will go to Kennesaw State to watch the Owls volleyball match at 3:00 pm. The girls will get to watch the match, meet the team afterwards and get some autographs! Parents if you would like to come please email me ASAP and let me know so I can put you on the list!
Practice for Monday will be from 5:15-7:15 so the girls can scrimmage the Kell JV!
